- Flame arrestors are used to arrest the flame from reaching the LPG Cylinder from the gas pipe (Highly dense areas of fuel), Incase of backfire and thus avoid accidents and explosions.
- When a flammable gas escapes through the LPG Cylinder's regulator into the gas line it must pass through the flame arrestor which will prevent the occurrence of accidents/backfire.
- The flame arrestor should be installed prior to the burner to avoid flame propagation into the upstream line due to backfire.
